What is everyones opinion about the summit vs elevation jackets? I really like the core 4 element products because i feel you get a lot of value for the price. I contemplating getting either the summit jacket or the elevation jacket. I called C4E customer service line and they told me the below specs

Elevation jacket
700 fill drytec down
weight 1.1lbs = 17.3 ounces
$259.99

Summit jacket
primaloft one synthetic insulation
weight 1.0 lbs = 16 ounces
$169.99

I'm leaning toward the summit jacket because its cheaper, lighter and would insulate better if it got wet. I'll wait until these show up on camofire so i'm not going to be paying full retail price. What are your opinions between these two jackets? Is one significantly warmer than the other or for a different application? Thanks

I haven't bought the jackets for the same reason, I have the elevation pants, best sweater and 1/4 zip, I want a jacket but jus bought a bow so gotta hold out for a little

I bought two FL jackets during the Christmas sale, but I am not opposed to getting some of the Core4 gear, when it's on Camofire. The problem is that it is either out of my size or I don't have the cash.

I bought the elevation jacket this winter. I'll put it to work on the mountain this year as far as hunting goes, but I skiied in it all winter and I loved it. It turned into my favorite jacket for going anywhere thru the winter. So far I dig it...

Krueger, if your patient and watch Camofire you can find some killer prices on these two pieces of clothing as they run them every once in a while.
