I know pics aren't great. Was wondering of this looks like an acceptable amount of copper in a barrel or not? Not that is matters but it's a Rem 700 in 300RUM

That is a difficult one to say, as every rifle is different and "likes" different conditions. My opinion is, let the rifle tell you. If your groups are opening up, you may be running into fouling issues and need a good bore scrubbing. Do you know about how many rounds that is?

Gun has right at 100rds thru it. I have scrubbed it for copper twice in that time. I just scrubbed it again and that is as good as I could get it. I use KG copper solvent. I didn't notice groups opening up horizontal, but the bullets were dropping more from 300 to 400 yds than they ever have. It has always dropped right at 12in from 300 to 400yds. When shooting yesterday that were falling 15in

Barrels tent to speed up a little after they have had 100 or so rounds through them, so it seems interesting that you are seeing the opposite. Again, my opinion but I would get the barrel fouled again, 10 to 15 rounds to reach an equilibrium and see where you are at.
Do you use a chronograph?

I honestly prefer a fouled barrel, and only do a deep clean at the end of season, or if it's seen a lot of moisture.

After you clean with the KG product with brush and patch, I probably wouldn't worry too much about the residual copper, it's nearly impossible to get completely rid of.
Other products to try are Butches Bore shine, and Wipe Out or Patch Out if your not satisfied with the KG line.
