Cooper Model 52 or 92 - which would you choose???

I got a model 52 Long-Range lightweight in 300 win mag. It’s a sweet rifle Light and shoots lights out. Cooper makes some nice guns that’s forsure. My step dad has two coopers and they shoot great. .25 moa

Agreed! I have the 52 Jackson Game in 30-06 and another 52 (I think Classic) in 25-06. I love the 30-06 but have yet to shoot the 25-06. I'm in the early stages of sending both to Cooper to have them threaded. I'm looking at another caliber (everyone needs something larger than a 30-06, right), so the OP's question is on my mind.

I had a 52 in 280 ackley. Good shooting rifle but it was extremely finicky to load for. Once I finally found one it liked it shot lil better than MOA. Sold it and bought a custom. Good luck with your decision.

I own both. 92 in 280ai shoots 1/4 inch all day long with handloads.

My 52 open country is a 300 win mag and is my long range rig. The limitation on the model 92 isn’t group size but how much energy the bullet delivers past 700 yards.

Both rifles are accurate as hell and do the job they were designed for. I hunt with the 92 and shoot steel with the 52. One day I’ll take the 52 on a hunt but she’s heavy and the 92 normally gets the call.
