Yes. The 375 H&H cartridge has a long history of effectively killing Brown Bears. Pick a well constructed, controlled expansion bullet, and you’ll be successful. Cooper Firearms have a reputation of quality and the test target is a good indication of the rifle’s accuracy potential.Being from Alaska....Would you consider this rifle to be acceptable for a once in a lifetime brown bear hunt? I had a lightweight Cooper in 300 WM and it was a fierce rifle to fire from the bench. Recoil was beyond tolerable with that light of weight. Thanks
