I have a Cooper 52 Excalibur in .300 Win that I have been very happy with. Recently, I ran across a Timberline stock for sale from a Model 52, also in .300 Win. The price is right, and makes me wonder if this would be a worthy upgrade. I don’t have any experience with the Timberline. If anyone has handled both, do you think it would be worthwhile to swap the stocks out? Part of me is reluctant to start messing with a perfectly good rifle. Then again, Cooper components are difficult to find these days so this is a unique opportunity. Thanks in advance!
