Concerns with Lone Peak Fuzion action

Used to shoot a lot of the monthly matches at Rock Lake 3-4 years ago, haven't seemed to have had much on the schedule this year from when I looked. Hit up farmout range a few times last year.

I've shot all over the western United States, Rock Lake is world class. A friend of mine took me out there for the first time I joined the next day. Later I took a different friend of ours out there for the first time, he joined the next day.

I wish I had a local range of similar caliber, that's for sure!

I am gathering parts for new rife build and started reaching out to gunsmiths about build times and costs. One of the smiths I talked with had a pretty negative stance about lone peak actions. So much so, that he doesn't use them on any builds and strongly recommends that people do not use them for custom builds. He said that there are consistent issues with the ignition system which reduces potential accuracy. According to him those issues can be a combination of or any mix of problems with weak firing pins, short firing pins, cocking pin dragging on the bolt, etc. I already have a custom action built on a lone peak fuzion and haven't noticed any issues but, when a respected gunsmith tells me those things, I start to wonder if there are better options out there. Has anyone experinced issues with the lone peak fuzion action?
I have 5 LP
Actions and haven’t had any issues.
2 short actions
1 medium axrion
1 long action
And 1 300 Norma.

I have a long action razor that I used for a 300 prc build. I had some issues with the pinned rail not fitting the action very well and would not hold zero. Although they were minor zero shifts about one moa consistently in different directions. I ended up bedding the rail and repinning. Now it is one of my best shooting rifles. I was a little dissatisfied due to the price they charge for that rail, but in all fairness to them I didn’t even contact them about it and give them a chance to fix the problem. It was too close to hunting season and I needed to get the rifle going so I just fixed it myself.

Group is 215 hybrids at 2900 fps.

My wife's 6BRA is built off of a LP Fuzion, and it's a great action. Probably my favorite 2 lug pushfeed action.

Every gunsmith has their preferences, and you can find a gunsmith that won't build on any certain action. I know gunsmiths that won't build on Impacts, BATs and other high end actions for example.

That said, I do have a friend in the UK that bought a LP Fuzion and is having issues with the ignition system, and he knows others in the UK that are experiencing similar issues.

Every action has its quirks which sometimes develop into issues in specific circumstances. If you have a gunsmith like TS Customs, who has built thousands of LP Fuzion's build your rifle, I would feel very confident that it would come out perfect.
