Hey guys,
I'm planning on adding a computerized sewing machine to the fleet soon and would like to hear about your good and bad experiences, as well as which you're using now.
I have my bases very well covered with heavier duty, straight stitch machines, but would like something JUST for light thread and fabrics, zig-zag stitching stretchy items, and maybe some fun little embroidery projects with computerized options. The Singer 6700C looks like it does a lot of what I'm looking for, with some great features (needle positioner and thread trimmer), but I wouldn't mind something a little more refined and don't need the "Heavy Duty" capabilities.
There are so many options out there in the domestic machine world that it's a bit overwhelming. I'd welcome some recommendations.
For what it's worth, my other machines (those currently in commission) that I'll be looking to complement are:
Thanks!

- Compound feed flat bed
- Double needle, needle feed
- Compound feed cylinder arm for binding
- Programmable pattern tacker
Thanks!
