Compton Traditional Bowhunters

I've never persued any memberships of any kind as I have met 3 people in 30 years of shooting that hunt with a trad bow. I always figured I'm alone on an island.

I made it to RMS gear this year thanks to a work trip putting me a few minutes away. I never travel for shoots and such as they always seem to be during some important season.

I may have to do a better job of opening my eyes.
You would be surprised how many people shoot trad if you went to some of the shoots out East

Long-time off/on member. Been to quite a few of the rendezvous over the years, planning on the last MI gathering this June. Joined up originally at the beginning as a noob to traditional bows, saw the announcements in TBM if I remember correctly. Great organization.

Member as well, besides the magazine I just love my trad bows so I figured why wouldn’t I be a member. I even won a longbow from Dave Darling, it’s definitely a special community. You can talk to any of the guys at the shows like you’ve known them forever
This is so true. A great group of people in our sport and organization!

Everyone needs to experience the Rendezvous atleast once. Cheers!

The trad world is much bigger than you think. It's just that us bowhunter are solitary creatures and have never been "joiners" as a whole. Comptons would be a great way to see how big the family actually is. We are here if you ever get the notion to join an organization. And if not, no worries.

I'm an annual member. I don't go to any of the rendezvous or get togethers they put on. I just thought it seemed like a good thing to get into for support with the younger generation, education and overall just seeing how much fun traditional archery can be.

Charter member here—certainly paid enough over the years to be a life member but annual payments don’t add up to a life time membership. Support and active in my local club. Interest in Compton is waning. Always nice to talk to Compton folks when I’ve had a chance at various events. Youth support is a good part of the organization. Never been to the event in MI, conflicting dates and responsibilities. I think my annual membership has expired……so it goes……likely to stay that way…..
