I've had one of these for two years now. I can ride down the road on my quad at 40 mph and it will not blow off. And thats not even using the stampede strings. Its hands down my favorite hat for everything. Planning on getting a few more just to store away. Seems like every time I fall in love with a product they got out of business.-WW

For soft synthetic lightweight hats don't look at hunting hats in my view look at running hats and kayaking hats in blaze orange things from like epic kayaks Solomon running, Asics etc or even just go to your local running store and you'll likely find something there off of some off-brand.

Odd question to tack onto this thread, anyone know if any of these options have a dark under-brim material? I like the OP gets an itchy head from hats (shaved head perks). I also wear glasses, so the orange under-brims can have a nasty habit of reflecting into my lenses.

Been on lookout for something. Although not lightweight synthetic, I did get this Flint and Tinder waxed canvas in orange/brown recently and immediately ordered a second for backup because I think it's great. Won't wear in TX summer, but can use throughout much of the year.

More aligned with this thread, I found Fractel. All synthetic options in decent materials like Polartec Power Dry, Polartec Wind Pro, and various meshes. I ordered these two M-Series caps, latter being what I think is orange ha. Will take pics next to some other hunter orange and share once they arrive.

You may be on to something lol I have always worn the Seahawk for the wider brim, and now it appears, about the only one they have left is in the blaze orange......That sucks. Love these hats.
