Come with Rokslide to Western Hunt Expo

Photo and description of the new Kuiu chinook jacket if you can, possible similarities to the sitka ascent? Thanks

Robby can you look at the new icon pack again and look more in to how the shoulder straps attach to the frame? Is there more than just those quick clips?

Tips&tails
KUIU says the Chinook still prototype- they are working on the built-in knee pad design in the pants and want to make sure they get it right. On the jacket, it will be lighter weight than the guide jacket, fleece lined, soft shell. It will be released later in 2014

Beastmode, I'll go back over and ask about the shoulder straps

Met Rokslide prostaffer Evan Williams first time in person. He's been on since the beginning and is great resource on the technical archery side. I think we've arranged for a few articles on the subject later this spring. Stay tuned, he is an extreme archer!

There is reason I mention Arizona so much when I talk Giant Mule Deer.
Check out this rack. You cannot believe how really big this typical frame is unless you see it. Stop by the AZ G&F booth and take a look

Thanks Robby,appreciate it!

Awesome pics Robby! That's the one expo I would like to attend sometime... Maybe next year!

You're welcome guys. It was a good show. Met quite a few Roksliders. My wife, Jodi and kids came today, too. I met PhillyB and his wife today. He's got the best Avatar on Rokslide.

The Expo has some activities for kids, archery, pellet guns, hilarious antler hats, and caramel corn,
Here is my daughter Grace at the SFW archery booth. Look close above the buck's head. You'll see her first arrow sticking in the aluminum pole. Her second one did the same thing. The range masters said no one had stuck the poles in thousands of shots. She shoots like the ol' man

I'll have some video up on the blog in the next hour on the KUIU T-lock. I've also got some coming on two sweet new tripod binoculars from Vortex. Wage earners rejoice, we can even afford them!

I finally got to meet in person, Rokslide's Senior Editor, Darin Cooper. He's been on since Rokslide started and has contributed greatly. He's a great guy and entirely too humble... Few of us know how many quality animals he's taken and what a serious archer he really is. Good guy and glad to have him on the team. Hoping to put the hurt on Jalapeno with Darin next year.
