Looking for a thin, durable, pad to put on the adjustable height comb of a couple of my rifles that doesn't absorb water (close cell foam?).

Not looking to raise the height in any significant amount, just a little shock absorption.

What are you guys using and liking?

McMaster has what you seek. If it gets torn up just replace it. There’s a bunch of options.

Hoptic saddle blankets

Thanks for the suggestions guys, are there any of these (or others) that you have been happy with?

I guess what I am mostly looking for is experience with a product that you were pleased with the results.

The hoptic ones have been great. They hold up well. UM also sells leather ones for the rokstok that you could probably trim, I like the feel of the leather ones also.

Thanks guys, couple questions:
1) Did you put these on a Bravo, X-ray, or Echo? One of the stocks I am looking to do this to is an Echo and I am hoping the Bravo fits it reasonably well.

2) How is the surface finish on these pads? It looks in the photos like soft foam that isn’t very slick and can catch and tear easily.

I haven’t put one on a bravo or echo so I’m not sure.

They are 1/8 polyethylene foam padding, they can catch on something sharp and get chunks taken out but mine seem to hold up well. The adhesive backing holds very good.
