I’m not partial to private or public more interested in a good quality hunt with good chance of opportunity. Guessing private would potentially be better but I’m not familiar with Oregon public lands and the hunting pressures. As far as score. I’m just wanting a decent buck but would not turn down an opportunity at a booner !!

If your looking at oregon i would check out Dark Timber outfitters (Rob Stamp). He is knocking down great bucks for his clients. There is also Eden Ridge Outfitters.

Table rock outfitters, eden ridge outfitters, time picket with southern oregon outfitting.

Your best chance will be with an outfitter that has private land access.
