In a 24 hour period god gave me two answers. One of the best a hunter can ever ask for and 1 the worst decision a parent hopefully ever make. Somehow god blessed me with a unit 6 bull moose tag. 4 points. 24 hours before he gave me the worst new imaginable. A diagnosis of “pessimistic side of severe diagnosis of cerebral palsy” in a 6 week old baby girl. I will gladly take PM’s for support or information on the unit.

You guys are gonna hate me. I drew my moose tag unit 055 last season with 22 points. It was the only tag I applied for becuase wife was pregnant with our second in mid September. Yes I can count to 9...ops. I obviosly didn't think I'd acutally draw but Murphy's Law I did. I scouted all summer but ultimate decided to turn the tag in so I didn't miss the birth. I knew I'd likey never see a moose tag agian.

Drew the same tag agian this year! No babies on the way so I'm good to hunt!

Sure could use some ideas on pack out help. I likely won't have much support. I am confident in the killing but the pack out could be rough. I spoke with the only liscensed guide in the area. They might be able to help it'll just depend on what other kills/hunts they are dealing with.
