Colorado Unit Seventy Eight Archery questions?

Me and my nephew are going to give this area a shot this archery season. I have heard the pressure in this area is off the charts. Well its OTC cO so duh right?

I know everyone says this but I dont want advice on where to hunt. I have around 12-15 areas picked out that I want to narrow down. I want to find my own areas to hunt threw scouting and trial and error. I dont want nor will I accept any handouts. I have talked to the CO DOW Officer and got his perspective. Now I would like to get some insight on access and hunter pressure from guys who have been in this area during early archery season. So if there is someone who would want to converse threw PM or email that would be great. I will be in this area from the 27th to Sept. 12th. I have scouted some spots last year in July and found elk.

Again I wont ask for a hunting spot just info on pressure and access to general areas.

4 months away!! Cant wait to be in the mountains!

We will be doing a combination of truck camping and setting a small base camp back in 2-3 miles in some spots. I have more areas that I can hunt that look good. Some I have been in last year scouting in July and some I have map scouted. I will keep poking till I run out of time or get into elk. We will have 11 full days and 2 half days. I have a few lower elevation spots to try for the first 2 days to get acclimated to elevatio
