Colorado non res draw question

As a non res with 0 points, if my first choice is for a unit with say 50% odds and my second choice is for a unit with 100% odds. If i don't get my first choice will i be guaranteed to get my second choice since it's 100% draw ?

Nothing is guaranteed. Nobody can predict draw odds accurately.

But if your second choice is an archery tag that’s otc for residents, yeah probably.

Not necessarily. All those stats just mean that "last year" was 100% draw. This year will be another crap shoot.

Look at the odds of the second choice for your second choice tag ur second choice might be 10% in the secondary

No, you are not guaranteed. That 100% choice may not be next year

IMO...the only thing close to a guarantee would be your 2nd Choice being for a tag that states "leftovers" on last year draw recap. One other good thing about drawing your 2nd Choice is you also get a Preference Point.
