Awesome buck. Is there a story to go along with the pic?
Got to western colorado on a Thursday evening from Texas, covered 25 miles in 4 days seeing close to 100 deer nothing near this bucks size, I’ll add that my wife tagged along with me so after 4 days she was getting close to being done for, we woke up late one morning and I told her I wanted to check out a basin we hadn’t gone to yet, so after about 2000 vertical foot I get up on top to rest and spot this buck with 2 others in a hell hole of a basin across the drainage, after looking I seen I would be cliffed out from coming from the bottom so I looked at my OnX and figured out I could get around on a dirt road to a nasty drainage that would put me about 800 yards from the top where I could come in and be where he was so I take off with pack and muzzleloader, about half way up a lightening/hail storm hit so I hunker down and wait it out, when it passes I get to the top and get my pack off and gun ready before I skyline myself, I look over and there he is at 160 yards with the 2 other deer I make the shot and the rest is history and a hell of a pack out alone

Good lookin buck and sweet muzzleloader, what is it?
thanks! It’s a Rem 700 UML action, Preferred carbon .45 barrel, arrowhead ignition, McMillan Stock. Running a Williams FP-AG sight on the rear, with a new fiber optic globe on the front that I’ve been trying to bring to market.
