Colorado Moose

Found some moose in N Central Colorado today...

Grunted & cow called to them and they came out of the woods checking me out - 11 total!
4 bulls over 40 in!

That's just too cool! A moose hunt in the lower 48 would send me to my grave with a smile on my mug. Too bad the tags as so expensive and hard to get. You need to do up a little video some time.

Very nice! Maybe I can get some intel when I am ready to apply for a unit in two years. Next year I'll be in Alaska but can't wait to do it at home back in Colorado.
