Colorado late season Goat gear.

I drew a 4th season Colorado goat tag. The weather could be anything from dry and wonderful to extreme winter conditions. Would it be wise to have snowshoes and crampons?

I've spent some time above treeline that time of year...it can be wild.
Sleep system should include a true 4 season tent and 0 degree insulation. Serious cold weather gear for being out during the day too.
Yes on both the snowshoes and crampons, depending on conditions. Petzl Leopards would do well for the crampons. Any decent ~24" snowshoe would do. Even if there's not much snow the north facing slopes can get really dicey and frozen, the crampons can literally be a lifesaver there.
