Colorado g12 question

hello all My nephew has a g12 tag and lives in Crested Butte. I am going to go help on the hunt. he has not found many Goats as of yet.

My question is has anyone ever accessed this unit from the Crested Butte side?

He is looking at Bellevue Mountain mostly. he has seen 1 goat.

I know that there are more goats in the unit.

I hunted it last year, See profile pic. Biggest suggestion I would have is to have multiple places/plans to go, especially if you are hunting the second season.

Good work! Thanks for the advice. I have scouted two areas now that should allow for a lot of looking and moving should an opportunity not be there in a particular bowl. Little worried about the inaccessibility of many goats I’ve seen, guess we’ll see what turns up!
