Colorado draw changing?

So it appears that Colorado is changing the draw system in 2028 to a hybrid of sorts.

Anyone have the scoop on this?

I’m still bummed over them making archery all draw. I have 7 or 8 points as does my wife but don’t plan on burning them any time soon. Apparently they are doing 50% allocated tags for units as a lottery and 50% to hunters with adequate points. If that’s the case I may actually get to hunt some great units in my lifetime. lol. Wife wants a super nice mule deer so we may have to start putting in for some good deer units.

CPW Decisions Today

Snagged this from another platform Some Colorado CPW Commission decisions today. Starting in 2028 the big game tag allocations will now apply to the 1st choice and 2nd choice of the primary draw. However, they left the fake/soft cap in place for the 3rd and 4th choices. Split Draw Type 50/50...
