I believe that a 500 series number means you have a tag on file and 400 number just means an application is on file. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Mine also says 591 so I'm assuming I drew this year.

Mine still has 491 code for deer. Im 50/50 odds so its a toss up whether I was gonna draw or not.

I have both 491 and 591 codes for deer. Does that mean I drew my second choice? Here is what I get.

It means you had a deer APP on file (490)
The 590 means you drew one of your 1-4 choices, or 2-4 if your 1st choice was a PP

Go on their site and click purchase license online. Fill out your information then click on habitat stamps and other licenses. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Do you happen to know the difference between a 590 and 591 code? I'm thinking 591 is your first choice and 590 may be a 2-4 choice? That's just a guess since I got a 590 code and put in for a pref point for 1st choice.

Pretty sure that
590= res deer tag
591= non-res deer tag

Looks like I have a 4th rifle tag coming my way on a second choice - can't decide if I am all that excited about it though. Might end up turning it back in and trying an out of state hunt instead.
