What boots were you wearing for this trip? Had you worn them before, or what was the deal?

I was wearing some cabelas silent stalkers. I used them for antelope and had been doing some hiking but nothing serious in them. Wore them instead of my Heavy winter boots. Tore me up.

I went out after my feet healed up and bought Asolo TPS 520.. Love them. Great boot. I put some serious miles on them with my 5 days a week 4 mile training hikes with 60 lbs and then did my hunt . Never had a problem.
