Colorado Archery Elk Season Insect Issues

Was hunting two years ago in northern Colorado and we were destroyed by mosquitoes all day. They were worse after a rain. I've lived in Wisconsin and Florida and have never been bothered by them there as much as we were in the mountains. The year before that in the same area, not a mosquito in sight. Hopefully your area has had a freeze so they wont be an issue.
