Colorado 4th Rifle Thread

3rd is a 9 day season while 4th is 5 days. This could be a factor for you.

The lower pressure from so many fewer tags in 4th season would be a huge plus in my mind. Not having to fight the orange army would have to add a level of quality to a hunt.

Between those two I’d go five three but likely a coin flip, that’s a longgggg time to wait for either of those tags though…

Don’t think I can wait for 44. I’m also considering the NW corner. I’ve taken a few good ones in the past, just looking for a quality experience and an opportunity to hunt a mature buck.

Still opportunity for better than that in either of those units if you work an stay off the trigger for the first few 4x’s you find
