After 3 days of only seeing some does and on small 3 point i found this one. After convincing my dad we needed to try another spot it paid off. I caught him trying to sneak out of the draw at 150 yards. I had only a few seconds to look at him threw the scope and i was pretty sure he was a good one. I sent my 225 grain 338 win mag his way. It was right on the mark and droped him in his tracks. After getting to him he didn't shirk much when i finally got my hands on him. I guessed him to be 150ish but i was happy with that. After dropping him off at the taxidermist they said "are you sure you you just want a European mount "? I said yeah hes not that big. He called the next day and said he had rough scored him at 179 and change. He is the biggest deer i have ever killed. The best part is my dad was there with me to watch the whole thing.
