Colorado 2026 Secondary Draw Lope Q's

I have not yet hunted in Colorado, but I love hunting lope, and I have some questions I hope someone here can answer soon:

-There are literally hundreds of antelope rifle and muzzle-loader B tags left over, for example there are 247 tags in one particular unit group still available, why is this?

-Seems too good to be true, at least in my home state of Nevada I've never seen a leftover rifle or muzzy antelope tag, only archery. Why are there so many leftover lope gun tags, is it too much private land in all those numerous units or something?

-I already got a muzzy lope tag in the first main draw, its an "A" list tag

-I see there is still one tag of the exact same hunt/weapon/unit available in the secondary, it is of course also an "A" tag. Can I apply for it since it's the 2nd draw, or am I still limited to one A tag per species?

For the most part the leftover antelope tags are in the eastern part of the state which is mostly farm land and of course private. They charge for trespass fee or have outfitter leases. Research the units and the ones with adequate public land won't have many tags on the leftover list.

No, only one A. You can do A/B, B/B, and an unlimited number of C regardless of what else you have. (Per species)
