Colorado Proposition 127, the Prohibit Hunting of Mountain Lion, Bobcat, and Lynx Initiative, is on the ballot in Colorado as an initiated state statute on November 5, 2024.

A "yes" vote supports defining and prohibiting trophy hunting as "intentionally killing, wounding, pursuing, or entrapping a mountain lion, bobcat, or lynx; or discharging or releasing any deadly weapon at a mountain lion, bobcat, or lynx."

Yeah man no one is even talking about the 6% excise tax on ammo and guns that is also being proposed and almost surely pass. Every person who does not own guns will vote for it just on the surface. The tax supposedly goes to victims of crimes but I am sure 70% will go towards an inflated and inept bureaucracy and very little will actually go where they claim it will.

Yep the wording of that one is awful, it’s always “for the children” so people vote for it. Then it will get stashed in the general fund or given to some politicians relative that started an “ngo” so disgusting. Also why do legal gun owners/ hunters need to pay a tax because criminals break the law. None of it makes sense…
