Colo elk hunt unit 76

With that many points, I really hope you don't go to 76. You've waited a long time,. 76 is nice, real nice, but is not worth your investment.

61 ML and First Rifle look like you would be a sure in. The season dates this year look to be good on paper. Enjoy, you've earned it.

I must be the odd man out but I would take a early rifle 76 tag over a 61 first rifle any day of the week. Muzzy I would take 61 over 76 though.

I've hunted both 61 and 76 and had great hunts in both. If I were you 61 would definitely be my choice.

He could also go big and try unit 10 archery, with about a 10% chance. I'd go ML 61.

The biggest bulls in 76 are typically killed with a muzzleloader.
Ive hunted 76, but 61 would be my choice with that many points

Yup! Tough hunting at that altitude but absolutely gorgeous scenery. An it probably will take me a week to recover. I hunted 9 days in unit 22 for deer last year 3rd season and finally shot an old, heavy, chocolate-horned 26" 3x4 because it got too cold and I was worn out!

Which unit did you choose? How did you do? I have 23pts and going for unit 76 ML
