As is Webster. I won't pick it.....I am a Lovett fan. But it's not gonna surprise me if Webster stops him

I don't ever get to see Shapiro, but he looked great against that beast from Central Mich- Lovett? But Kasak also showed his freakish strength of GENTLY placing Chittum back on the mat with one arm. Match was more one sided than 8-3. Kasak often gives up very "unintelligent" stall points.

Minto vs Barraclough maybe one of my top matches this session. Really pulling for Terrel. But Minto really trending hot for the last month. I'll take Minto

Levi gets through Wask rather easy. KOT finds a way yet again

Ferarri.....as he is trying to get Buy In and clear his name....I just don't get it. He's as boring as Bartlett. The headstand did nothing for me. And optional start/cutting a guy at 4-1 with :07 seconds.....I wasn't entertained nor impressed. Barr looks like shit, and although he Major'd Beard early this year, I don't see him making it out of this round. So Barr isn't going to be the one to shut down AJ. But Cardenas will.

Beard has to walk around at 230lbs? He's enormous

Kerk is sooooo boring, I am now rooting against him. I hope Wyatt makes it past Trumble (fluke pin last meeting??) and puts it on Kerk.

There have been some great matches and quite a few upsets. No idea why Barraclough shot with 10 seconds left. I think he must have thought he was behind.

Some awesome matches. Feeling pretty good about how I predicted it playing out. Happy I was wrong about Aj and Buchanan! Especially after that interview Aj gave. Well he’s getting the match he wanted, for 3rd place! Mac held Parker to no takedowns! That ot scramble was something. Hamiti! Pretty exciting. Who would’ve guessed Nebraska sending 3 to the finals! Hardy and Mendez….

I didn't typically pull for Buchanan since he left my Cowboys but I joined with the rest of America and became a Hawkeye fan tonight. I would love to see Caliendo pull the upset tomorrow.

that was crazy....he was totally gassed after 1st period...he had MN throw brick at end of 2nd to catch his breath, didn't look like Gable at all...credit to the oke st kid, he's a good wrestler, seized the moment

Fun tournament.

One of the reasons for Penn State dominance, they wrestle to win. They don't try to steal matches. They push the pace and try to score.

My Huskers had a great tournament! Congrats to Manning and crew!

That was an awesome finals round! We spent the day at a youth wrestling tournament that was running about 4 hours behind. I stayed off the socials because I didn't want to know results without watching. We started watching last night at about 9:00. It was late but really fun watching! I was hoping Brock would have pulled it off.

Wrestling.....! I got into HS wrestling (back in 1957) because it was something to do between Football & baseball seasons. Man did I find out I wasn't in as good of shape as I thought I was in!
Went off to college and played football only, coach didn't want football players doing anything but football. When I graduated in 1963, I got my draft notice for the Army. Because I was in college athletics, I was assigned to Special Services and played foot ball & baseball and in between seasons.....wrestled again. Was runnerup (2nd place) in the Texas state AAU championships in 1964 and got an invite to the 1964 Olympic tryouts. Went to the tryouts and after a couple of days, knew there was no way I as good as most of the other competitors in my weight class (Heavyweight ).

Picture is 4 of us from the 4th Army who went to the tryouts. I am kneeling on the left side of the picture. The black kid standing with our coach talking to him finished in 8th place. Long time ago for sure as I am 83 now!!
