Why does everyone assume a witch's tit is cold??? What if they are soft, supple and warm?? I mean has anyone on here every touched an actual witches tit?? how can we confirm this?

A little history lesson for you

“The phrase "colder than a witch's tit" is an expressive way to describe very cold weather, first appearing in print in 1932. Its origin may relate to the belief that witches had cold bodies, possibly due to their association with evil, or it could simply be a colorful metaphor for coldness.”

I can’t confirm, but the same is said about a grave digger‘s ass and I can’t confirm that either.

-17 on Monday the 20th then -13 on Tuesday morning the 21st while throwing out some ice melt at work but it was -19 at the airport for a daily record low here in Pueblo. Then it warmed up to 49 for the high Tuesday, crazy temperature swings here.

I'm getting sick of this crap, low to mid 20's for the last 3 weeks or so and we're outside of Seattle for god's sake. It ain't suppose to be this cold. I've blown through as much firewood this month as all of last year.
