Any recommendations on cold weather hunting boots that are under the 200 dollar mark?

Seconds on the Schnees, recommend also buying a extra set of liners, and the extra insoles, that way you can swap liners if your feet sweat or you get a bit of water in them. mine are going on around 5 years old and doing well, used too get cold feet not anymore. The other thing about them is if you wear out the bottoms just ship them back for re-placement bottoms. Bite the bullet and get a pair they are well worth the money.

Check out hoffman pac boots with the rokslide discount code you should be around the 200 mark. Full disclosure I haven't hunted in mine yet but the quality seems to be top notch.

I’m not sure what your use is, but I like the 1600 gram lacrosse alpha burly pro. Ice fishing, tree stand hunting, cold weather outdoor work…they work well for me

Best Trick I found for keeping the Toes Warm is buy a good boot, make sure you buy them for some wiggle room for your toes and feet so air can warm up inside. Then buy a nice warm pair of Merino hunting Boot Socks from Darn Tuff. Great for Stand Hunting and long sits here in MN.

How is the fit on the Schnees? Are they sized assuming you’ll wear some slightly heavier socks?

I wear a 11-1/2 boot i also like the smart wool socks some times I will wear a silk sock liner also, I can wiggle toes with this set up in the schnees. If say in the 20-30 degree range and stand hunting where I do not walk much I will wear a good pair of cotton socks, witha extra pair in hunting pack just in case, the coldest I have used them was in 0-10 below with the smart wool socks, basically I am a stand hunter from the ground have no problems with cold toes.

I've been really happy with Oboz Bridger 9s. They have also held up well even as they have been my go to winter footwear.

This is not direct to your question about pac boots, but if you have sweaty feet that get cold easily like I do, you may also consider a vapor barrier liner VBL. Its a thin water proof sock that keeps the sweat from soaking your sock or the insulation in your boots. These have been used buy cold weather climbers and mountaineers for years. I personally wear a thin liner sock then the VBL liner then my wool sock. For multi day I switch out and rinse the liner socks. This adds significant warmth to a normal pair of boots assuming you have the room and does not reduce circulation in a tight boot. As with every thing their are cons... your feet can get soggy which is a bit weird and can get soft if you don't dry them well in the evenings. You can buy good ones that last from RAB and Mountain tools or just use bread bags as a single use or to see if it works out for you. hope this helps

From what I am finding on the websites the Kenetreks are the only ones to advertise a wool felt integrated into the sole of the boot. Can anyone attest to otherwise?
