Cold weather hunting boots?

If you're doing a lot of hiking, go with the Schnee's pacs. If you're stand hunting, go with the insulated rubber boots. If you want just one pair of boots for both, you could consider the Schnee's and a pair of boot blankets.

How is the fit on the Schnees? Are they sized assuming you’ll wear some slightly heavier socks?

Both of my Schnee's boots fit true to size. I would just call them if you're concerned about it, their customer service has been great in my experience.

I use Hot Feet warmer pads when I'm sitting and know it's gonna be cold, especially if i have to hike a ways to where I am sitting. I just quit trying to find the boot/sock combo that worked in all scenarios.
