I would've contributed prizes or not, however I'd be lying if I said the prizes didn't make me get off my duff and shoot it almost immediately when i saw it.

Maybe a Archery MER/situational practice thread too keep the honest skill self evals rolling between CBC's? maybe this QA thread is that?

2. You all could use Google forms to pull all the data on equipment, environmentals, and hits.

strongly agree. However this may make cross referencing posts to excell a PITA for mods, maybe yall PM a google docs link to qualified entries? IDK if thats more hassle or not

3. Maybe we can require video of the shot, would be fun to see the whole thing and not just a photo of the target.

That would be cool. May weed out some of the more casual entries, but for the prizes given really isnt an issue.
Maybe top tier prize requires video? But that may be another admin hassle.

The QnA thread is a good place to keep summer practice going. Or a new thread. @Billy Goat had one going last summer a few of us participated in. As long as we’re shooting our bow, it’s a win for the sport.

@robby denning The Skre gear arrived today. I’ve been a Kuiu guy for a while but I am very impressed with the quality of materials. Hopefully the Colorado secondary is good to us and we get to put them to use this fall on a trip. The weight of them will be perfect for our archery season in NY as well. Thank you again.

Oh sure thing, I’ve ran multiple pieces of their hot weather gear and I found it was a really good value for the money.

I hope you can pull a tag in the secondary! That would be your second big win of the year.
