Hey now, I still have a '98 bow with an overdraw and 23XX aluminum arrows. All period correct, my retro bow. Hunt it a few times a year usually.


Can I use it to double up instead of a stick bow?

If Easton still made all their aluminums stock at 34” I’d shoot some out of at least one of my trad bows.

I forget now what I did, 2512 over a 2315? Back the insert up with the smaller shaft.


I thought the larger 23 series and up were 34 or 34 1/2 long?

I think that the Eclipse x7's are technically long enough. I always wanted the xx75 series in Autumn Orange or in one of the camo patterns. Hard to get excited about fat shafts for hunting though.

When they came out with the fmj's in the retro orange a few years ago, I really wanted some.

Then I remembered they were fmj's

I only track things for the stats not the competition so I don't keep super close tabs on how many or if they have completed. I show 103 total shooters with 5 of those having not completed. Those are rough numbers though.

Pretty sure there aren’t 100 shooters yet! I’m just trying to get the attention of stragglers so we can get it filled up! Has your kid gotten any more arrows in?

Steel cables predated that, mostly 80's, some x early 90's


I won't use a steel cable bow anymore.
