My favorite is the Aeropress Xl. It’s durable, lightweight, I find it convenient and I prefer the coffee I make with it over a French press or Moccamaster.

I just use a cheap bodum grinder. I don’t love it, but don’t plan on replacing it anytime soon.

For lightweight camping/hunting trips or when I’m in a big hurry I like Tioga Rise instant coffee. Tastes good camping, tastes good at home.

Can't help on grinder as I buy ground, but I've tried all methods and switched to pour over about 5 years ago and I'm not looking back.

The OXO burr grinder has been great for me. I also have a hand grinder, but rarely use it because I'm not really sure it's worth it.

For brewing, it's either the Aeropress or a Hario pourover. Hard to beat the consistency of the Aeropress.

The most important part is good coffee though. My favorites are usually Ethiopian single origin.

Did you ever have any issue with a metallic taste to you coffee when using the Oxo? I had one but everytime I would use it to grind my beans the coffee would always taste metallic.

Try a slightly finer grind setting. Should reduce acidity.

Kitchenaid pro burr grinder I bought in 2005. I use a Cuzinart 14 cup drip with a thermal craft. I have the same model but older in my hunting cabin. I have a french press but rarely use it.

I have not. Doing side by side taste tests with my hand grinder I'm getting pretty similar results
