For the most part mosquitos aren't problem unless you camp or ground blind hunt along a swampy or marshy areas. It is reasonable to expect sub-30 degrees overnight temps in CO during Sept..Planning on going to CO in Sept for the first time and wondering what mosquitos are like that time of year? Typically a whitetail hunter and use a thermacell in the tree saddle. Wasn’t sure if it would be worth having in the pack or if it’s a waste.
Ha! I was camping off 285 this weekend. As bad as I’ve EVER seen them. I’m talking hordes. First spot we tried, I got out of the truck and got bit 20 plus times in 5 minutes.FYI with the warm and mostly dry spring/ early summer mosquitoes are not bad at all this year
