Cleaning Screw Threads

How do you clean these threads before reuse? They are Talley Rings being mounted to a T3x receiver.
I scrubbed them with, and then soaked them in Birchwood Casey Cleaner / Degreaser, and the are still not very good.

Wire brush and metal picks help a little bit if you're impatient like me just put some new loc Tite on and send it

Clean-up
1. Cured product can be removed with a combination of
soaking in a LOCTITE solvent and mechanical abrasion

If all else fails you could run the screws through a threading die. Just be careful to engage the existing threads in the die, don't start cutting a new set of threads.

I have been working on them this evening and they are getting better... I also emailed Talley, and it sounds like I may have a fresh set being mailed soon.
