Cleaning sand out of tent?

As title says what’s best way to get sand out of a tent?

Bought a “used 2x 3 years ago” Hilleberg akto that the guy must of been camping in a sandbox lol. Tried blowing it out which was pretty futile, a wet rag is gonna take ages, other thoughts? Floor if the tent is also uniformly sticky which my other Hilleberg has never been so gonna Lysol wipe it down too see how that goes .

Forewarning don’t buy a tent from those guys in AZ NV UT etc lol just kidding everyone. I got a deal I’m happy with even with the cleaning.

Shop Vac?

Turn it inside out then shop vac.

I usually just pull the floor from the floorless, shake it out and put it back in.

Hang it inside out...leaf blower/compressor air whatever...set back up shop vac with the wide attachment then wet rag it.

As for floorless, never tried it and honestly little bit afraid too lol with condensation, drafts, and well floor less

A light weight bivy sack makes it much less intimidating. I have to admit that waking up with ticks all over me would be enough to send me to the tent store.

It's liberating try it!

Just throw a drop cloth or ground tarp where you want to stay clean.

I’ve got something like this. Grew up on the ocean and have three kids if that gives me any cred. Sweeping isn’t as awesome as a shop vac, but a small broom can go many places a vac can’t.
