Circle Sawn Lumber (Oak)

I've had pretty good luck using mills for cutting custom rough timbers, but I haven't tried getting finish type lumber in quite some time. When I have, it's generally not very precise and requires a lot of planing to get uniform thickness (which defeats the purpose of circle sawn, unless you can do it all on one side). I think you'll have a hard time in the west finding a mill that has hardwood, but if they do, I'm sure they'd cut it for you. When I was in Tennessee last summer, there were small mills with it all over the place.

Don’t know much about it other than we added some 15 yrs ago and like it🤙Adds extra character for sure…I guess this is more skip saw versus circle saw
