Fortunately I've been good enough at killing elk and deer for the last 30 years so I don't need to eat bugs.....or guts.

Was in South Africa a month ago. Huge locust swarms… i gotta say… they’re not bad Little bit greasy, but no tummy-rumbling afterwards. A little salt would go a long way but overall... Sure.

My lawn in Fairfax Va was overrun by these bugs this year. The lab (Olive) enjoys eating the flying stage version. They're a natural mystery to me and not high on my menu. However, i appreciate the OPs willingness to experiment. Bravo to you, Bartman.
