Congrats on the goat. I did a hunt in the Chugach this fall and decided I was either going to be wet from the outside or sweated wet from the inside.

Good on you for pushing yourself after a recent bout with the Rona. That stuff will ruin your cardiovascular fitness quicker than smoking a carton of Cowboy Killers.

Chugach is the most beautiful place I have hunted in Alaska to date....overwhelming turf

F’ yea! Living your dream. Respect
And rain gear this rain gear that…. Bring your tenacity and a full kit. If your exhausted and cold what your peeling off doesn’t matter much cuz ya really just need to retreat into a shelter, hydrate, eat, and recover.
And what in the world… guys can’t shoot goats with blue and orange gear!!!?
Happy for you. Every man should go out there and face the wet and cold realm of the white buffalo.

Great goat and hunt recap, I'm heading out to the Chugach next September and can't wait. Went to kodiak this year and alaska weather and terrain is very humbling

I’ve put in for the Chugach a few times as a lifelong Alaskan and never drawn . Nice goat! Can’t say I’m not jealous
