Christensen Arms Mesa ?

I’m not sure if this is the place for this or not but I have a buddy that offered me a like new CA Mesa 6.5 Creedmoor for $900. The rifle is a shooter he just prefers his Browning. I’m pretty set on buying it but figured I would see if that seemed like a good buy. Thanks

I saw a Mesa new in my LGS for right at $1200 street price last weekend. $900 for a used one is fair, but it would have to be in excellent condition for me to pay that. Does it include any extra or accessories?

Also, have you shot it? They have a LOP of 13.5", which is too short for me. Might be fine for you depending on your statute.

For a confirmed shooter, I would pay $1,000 all day long for a CA Mesa if it is truly in "like new" condition..... if it was in a caliber I liked.......by the time you add on taxes and transfer fees, etc., $1,200 turns into alot more pretty quick, and a new one may not shoot as well as this one.

Had one in A 6.5 PRC, 1 1/4” was the best out of 4 different loads. Other than that it is a fine gun. I know others who have tack drivers.
