Choosing a day pack vs a multi-day pack?

I went Mystery Ranch Terraframe 65. Same GuideLite frame as the hunting packs but can be found on stupid sales since it's a "backpacking" pack. Cavernous for overnights. I bought the Mule bag only to use for the vast majority of day trips. It's plenty and keeps me from overpacking when I want to move fast.

They make a 50 and 85 version also. Just watch videos since they are all built a little differently.
