I'm looking for a carrier. I wish I would have kept mine but hindsight is 20/20 and now there are grand babies that need to see the backcountry. What do you have or recommend?

I have this backpack in grey which has been excellent for our two kids:

It’s still in great shape and I would sell for 50% off retail plus shipping. PM me if interested and I can pull it out of gear storage and snap a few pictures for you.

If OP isn’t interested in yours, I am. Will send you a PM.

Sorry folks I jumped the gun on this one, my wife wants to keep ours for ONE more season to extend our hike mileage for our youngest. I’ll likely serve this up on RS next year when we’re ready to retire it.

Meanwhile I do believe the OP is in need of a solution, so anyone with an extra kid carrying BP sing out!

Deuter are very high quality and we like ours
Here in Canada the MEC Shuttlecraft is great and that is our second one
I hear good things about osprey but I haven't tried that one

At the risk of sounding creepy, if you know a young mom that has hookups to the local kids buy and sell groups on facebook, all that kid gear goes on there for good prices. We've gotten most things that way.

I have an Osprey poco AG plus that I've been happy with - but only used it a couple times. She was walking at 10 months and insisted on walking as soon as she was able.

I have a feeling it would cost a fortune to ship, but will echo what slatty said. Check the Facebook groups - that's where I found mine brand new for $100.

Thule Sapling Elite is the way to go! I've got some miles on this one. Child # 2 is about to kick my 2.5 YO outof it. fishing.png
