Looking for a Hitch Cargo Carrier that can hold 600 pounds plus. Needs to be 60" wide. I am ok with dropping some $$$. Anyone have some recommendations?

Just came across quack rack which looks interesting.

+1 on the Pakmule. Ran one on my 4Runnner from FL to NODAK and back last fall and you will forget it’s on the back of your vehicle.

I have one of these.

They make a 60" version.

It's really well made...in America.

I had a bunch of deer on it last year, and climbed on top of it and pulled one more up on it by myself before I thought...probably shouldn't a done that. I'm guessing that was 600 lbs plus whatever downward force I was exerting.

Thx. Going to go with a PakMule. Is there much of a difference between the Pro and the original?

Going on a 4runner so good to go with tw.

I think the new pro is a revised original with slightly different dimensions so it can be shipped UPS/FedEx. If you email Kansas, the owner, he’ll get right back to you with more info.

I have the original on my 4Runner.

Will it allow the rear hatch to open when it's installed?

Yep, you just want to make sure that anything taller than a yeti 35 or so is loaded to the front of the rack, otherwise it gets caught.

I’ve had mine loaded up with three bikes and coolers + hard gear for a camping trip and just had to use the rear window to access anything in the trunk. Annoying but could be worse.
