I have a buddy who lives in Alaska and wants me and another buddy to come up and hunt next year.. THey hunt in or near chicken alaska.. Has anyone hunted around there?? It would be for Caribou..

We are going to use airline miles for our flights and since he has a place to stay and truck and everything the trip will be cheap.. Me and my buddy have pretty much decided to go no matter what just bc how cheap the hunt will be.. Plus if we dont see much, hey where in Alaska for less than $1000.00

Heh, I came in here expecting some fancy chicken meal. Anyway, don't pass up that deal and enjoy every second of it.

Oddly enough, I know a guy who's brother used to own the "town" of Chicken. I'll see if I can get in touch with him to find a contact for you.

x2 fairly easy hunt. Believe the caribou tag itself is around $325 plus the cost of a non-residence license which is another $85 or so.

Talked to the guy who's brother used to own Chicken. One of the kids is coming down from AK for Labor Day. He's going to ask about contacts. Might have some names next week if you still need them.
