First time backpack hunt co.ing up this fall in Idaho. Wanted to see if anyone wanted to share a detailed checklist. I am just looking for a cheat sheet to start from. All input is welcome. Thanks in advance everyone.

I’m far from any kind of hunting guru or expert but here’s a list I made for a buddy with the gear I take elk hunting in CO every year during archery season.

2019 gear

-Kifaru Bikini /DT1 w/guide lid, medium belt pouch, mini belt pouch
-Kifaru Tut w/18” Smith cylinder stove
-Thermarest Xtherm pad

-Sea to Summit long spoon
-Anker 26,800mah battery pack
-Baby wipes in ziplock
-Rokslide Kill Kit

-closed cell foam sit pad
-Toiletries (deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, contact solution and case, eye drops, spare contacts, small plastic mirror, Benadryl, Motrin, Imodium, Pepto Tabs)
-Possibles Kit (Israeli bandage, Quik clot, esee izula, spare AAA bats, spare AA batts, Petzyl e-Lite, wet fire tabs, mini box wrapped in duct tape, pad patch kit, Leukotape)
-Leather gloves
-AGC bino harness (8x42 binos, rangefinder, wind checker, mini box with duct tape, flint and steel, wet fire tabs x2, lens pen, Garmin GPS, cow call, tags in ziplock)
-Glock 30 and spare mag in GS chest holster
-Kifaru Lost Park Parka
-Marmot Precip rain jacket
-Sitka traverse fleece top
-Sitka Timberline pants
-Kuiu LS merino shirt
-Kuiu merino beanie and neck gaiter
-Sitka traverse gloves

-Spare clothes (2 pair merino socks, Sitka Traverse top and bottoms if expecting super cold temps, Sitka Jetstream beanie, Traverse balaclava, spare traverse gloves and merino beanie)
-Camelbak bladder
-Nalgene bottle
-Garmin inReach Mini
-Food in gallon bags (1 for each day)
