Looking at getting some cheaper range finding binos with ballistics. The reason for going cheap is I have image stabilized binos and I don’t think I could ever not use those anymore so I would not use these for hunting.

But I am planning to do more competitions this year so I would like them for that.

Does anybody have a recommendation for cheaper binos for this use case? Would like to spend around keep it around 600 or so

The ATNs look enticing but haven’t been able to find much first hand experience with them

Vortex Ranger HD 3000 were briefly available at $599 following release. There's a 12% off deal today here.

Kilo 6K is what I use all the time. You can find Kilo 3000 used. I might even have a pair, can’t remember if I sold them yet. I have used both for comps.

I just jumped on the GPO Rangeguide 8x40 deal from Doug as well. Excited to give them a shot. I have a antlerless elk tag going right now through January. Waiting for some good snows to push elk to lower ranges. Hoping to take them out during that hunt in the next couple of weeks.
