I think it depends on where you live, in northern Idaho I go thru a lot of rain pants. Meaning it rains a lot and I rip holes in any and all rain gear because of the brush. So I have found that Cabelas space rain works the best for my situation, very packable, very cheap. If your not going to have to buy a set every other year, I would go with chugach series from Kuiu.

Ryan, I hunt in the Washington Cascades and it can get quite wet, often for days. Are you saying you would not suggest the chugach rain wear if you have to wear it for 5 days in a row and beat the brush? Is it not very durable? I currently have the lightest version of riverswest and it keeps me dry but man is that stuff heavy. I also want to be able to have something that I can dry out should it get wet. Riverswest won't.
So what you recommend?
