Always using whatever I can find. Vacuum tubes, wiffle ball bats, etc. Just curious what other ideas folks may have or have implemented. It is crazy what they charge for a plastic tube. Lol

Like any good slider, I practice in my vehicle. It was getting loud and I was going to throw the grunt tube in the truck to get the noise going elsewhere.
Had an empty 20 oz Gatorade bottle just sitting there, cut the bottom open and it works well.

Had a buddy use a 20oz Coke bottle he found on a day he forgot his tube. Although I've never come across anyone that uses a makeshift tube on a regular basis just to save $30-40.

I used a 1ltr water bottle once wrapped it in electrical tape. Didn't kill anything but got some responses....I stayed with mostly Cow sounds as I didn't want to risk sounding like a hammered Doug Flutie

Mike High Note make some cheaper tubes. The Gatorade bottle works okay.
Edit: Berry’s also has some cheaper options
